milkspace is artist, curator and creative consultant, deanne tremlett and business owner and management consultant, jimmy selkirk.
i am a slade school graduate who completed my postgraduate studies at wimbledon college of art.
i’ve been painting since the age of 6, have works in private collections both here and overseas and have been exhibiting since the age of 14, in london and out, in both solo and group shows.
as a curator i learned my craft whilst serving a curatorial internship world class london gallery, camden art space, and by undertaking voluntary organisational work for two arts charities. i’ve personally represented three national and internationally renowned artists, contributed to, consulted upon and overseen several high profile exhibitions throughout my home region, both as a former curator for sherborne house arts and as an independent practitioner. more recently i developed the gugg in stalbridge, dorset, into a community interest company.
i have been engaged as a creative consultant on a number of projects as a result of my post graduate interest in social and creative construction, relational portraiture and community creation. i strongly believe that a life lived more creatively builds resilience, both in individuals and the shared experience of communities.
jimmy is the owner of weavers on the wylye as well as a management consultant for a large american organisation
